As much as we may try to convince ourselves otherwise, we all want to be loved and accepted by others. We want people to think highly of us and not judge us for our imperfections. [...] I love Facebook 1. Figuring out how to get people to respond to my updates took about a year.. now that I’ve finally got it, it’s much more enjoyable. It’s still fun to experiment with different, weird, mysterious [...] I had a powerful moment of gratitude today, it was around a realization. I recently came to understand better why I have always had such a grasp of language. Not that I have learned 5 different languages or anything, but I have always considered words of incredible importance. I am grateful that I now know better why that is. It makes me laugh how the younger generation [...] Seriously, I’ve been talking, taking lightly and celebrating the level of human existance. I’m totally ditching something tomorrow because I don’t trust the women who asked me to be involved. That is a “yellow alert” as Jack Canfield calls them.
