Here is a video that explains the movement of generation we.. not really showcasing any specific individual, but speaking about the rise of the youth population and how we are dealing with the disaster created by the generation before us. This video highlights some of the positive changes we are making and gives information about some of the things the future holds if we continue going down the same road we’ve been on!
One of these Millennials is named Jason Pollock, he is the producer of a video called The Youngest Candidate (#TYC). On Twitter you can find him @Jason_Pollock. He is one of the most valuable tweeps according to http://twndx.in/
Taken from Jason’s website “‘The Youngest Candidate’ is a feature length documentary film directed by Jason Pollock. It is produced by David Letterman’s company, Worldwide Pants, in partnership with Oscar winner Lawrence Bender (producer of ‘Pulp Fiction’ and ‘An Inconvenient Truth’, etc..) and Balance Vector Productions.
It follows the story of 4 teens that ran for public office in America. Funny, inspiring, poignant, and ultimately uplifting, ‘The Youngest Candidate’ is not just a film about running for office. It is the coming of age story of four idealistic young adults who dared to confront the corrupt political systems in America. Through their journey these young candidates learn about fair play, leadership development, racism in politics, the importance of family, and many other lessons that they will carry with them throughout their lives. In the face of great adversity, these four young adults braved all the odds to make it to Election Day to show that regardless of the outcome, it didn’t matter… It’s all about how you play the game.”
From: Business value plus “Unlike computers, people have a difficult time completing multi-threaded processes and, consequently, leave a lot of tasks unfinished. When we multi-task, we start several projects. As time goes by we get to complete only a few projects.”
Simple dvice on becoming more focused:
End Your Day Making a List for the Next One.
Listen to Music.
Turn Distracting Things Into Tasks.
Give Yourself Time to Goof Off.
Just a few characteristics of the position I am seeking. Feedback, delegation, communication; some qualities of a good team. Honesty, excitement, recognition; important to inspire productivity.
Understanding, teaching, sharing; attributes of a good manager? Reaching for new heights in the face of it all. I have been looking at the same things for too long and I want to climb climb climb. So, I focus my attention upwards and outwards (hey, I just referenced Kelly Howell. The secret mind meditation. Yummy.)
I’m grateful that during times of darkness, my achiever self was still guiding me through the things I needed to do. Athletics, charity, college, sewing… I have such a unique skill set that I feel like now is the time to accept them as my own and get myself into a position of nurturing those skills and using them to create stuff that is uniquely me.
My focus on full time employment feels reasonable and I’m excited to find a position that pushes me to excel and do my best and live a balanced, healthy life as well.
Oh and did I mention.. live somewhere less… noisy??

Laurie Cameron writes a blog that I just adore- I thought I would share an excerpt here this morning:
“IF IT’S LOVE, IT DOESN’T HURT.
So what IS Love? That’s the million dollar question that we’ve been trying to answer over the course of human history. Here are some of my definitions, as I’ve come to believe so far – and I reserve the right to evolve and to revise my definition at any time:
* Love is a deep connection to and acknowledgment of another Soul that’s swimming in the same “energy pool” as we are.
* Love is the unconditional acceptance that we’re all doing the best we can with the tools, skills and knowledge we have in any given moment.
* Love is seeing and honoring the Divine in another human being.
* Love is seeing and honoring the fears in another human being.
* Love stands all on its own, without any need for reciprocation, understanding or agreement.
* Love helps us be more of who we truly are.
* Love is a power that gently and easily overrides fear.
How do YOU define Love? (I invite you to share your definitions, thoughts and comments below.)
If your definition includes any reference to pain, hurt, sadness, difficulty, struggle, confusion, fear, heartbreak, or betrayal, I will also invite you to take another look at what it is you’re defining. Because it’s something other than Love.
Blogging- I have to think of really creative titles for my posts
Twitter- I have to think of creative character use to communicate my message.
Blogging- has the content
Twitter-has the traffic going to the content
Blogging has to be authentic to create readership and following
Easy to spam (not authentic) on twitter, not easy to fake a good blog!
Celebrating in gratitude! Try it!
People are often grateful when I send them to my blog on occasions that there is interesting and fun content. I feel good about doing it from Twitter and Facebook and Digg if I have posted about something relevant.
Hence, good motivation to write interesting material.
And here’s a fun photo for you to check out… Any idea what I am holding up?
Could potentially document some things that others may or may not appreciate. Could potentially put together things that change lives.
Has the ability to illustrate a scenario from her eye. To show the truth.
We don’t have to be scared of the truth, even more so if we are not attached to thinking we are always right. As Dr.Wayne Dyer says- “would you rather be right or loving?” I’m grateful that it is easy for me to answer this question these days.
I’d like to mention that I just adore my friend Emily Hoch. I don’t talk about her too much on my blog, more often on facebook… but she is one of the best friends I could ask for. She inspires me, she shares the truth with me, she supports me, she inspires me, she is a great companion, she is mad talented and is always moving forward and evolving. I don’t even know if she reads my blog- it doesn’t matter… She rocks no matter what. I love her.
Other than that folks… Shannon Buckley… who is Shannon Buckley? she walks around with a video camera, she does turbo jam, she creates joy at all times, she has a web presence to capitalize on the inspiration she provides for others. She might have face-paints in her purse, she follows through, she is positive, she is successful. She understands that the language of the universe is emotion- not words. Communicate with emotion between all living things…. oh baby!!!! She understands emotional control so she visualizes her bank account with $500,000 or more in it and FEELS it. and so much more.. and so much more.
Mmmmm it feels good. I love Twitter guys… I don’t subscribe to any auto-follow programs because I am going to build an authentic twitter account. All I have to do to get more followers is post good stuff and thank everyone for following me and my numbers just keep growing. Mmm Mmmm… almost makes the iphone seem appealing haha.
xoxoo I love y’all.
